Wolverine isn’t all about work boots. The 1000 Mile collection takes inspiration from the brand’s past to create fashionable, wear-anywhere boots.

The Wolverine 1000 Mile 1940s are based on a pattern dug out of the Wolverine archives. The 1940s gave us World War II, the Great Depression, this this damn good pair of boots.

Project Bootstrap

There's a skilled worker shortage in this country, and Wolverine is giving a bullhorn to those trying to fight it. We went down to the American College of the Building Arts, a trade school in Charleston, South Carolina, and gave a pair of boots to every student. While we were there, we heard their stories and gained a better understanding of the importance of skilled workers.

Project Bootstrap is an embodiment of our founder G. A. Krause's belief in the possibility of opportunity, supporting employees and the importance of building for the future. In 2017, we will be donating 2,000 boots to trade schools across the country. See more at http://www.wolverine.com/projectbootstrap.
